Tobacco use and health promotion The essay we had to write for the course health promotion, upon which we based our clinical practice, which entailed going to a high school and telling the youngsters about tobacco and health risks. It contains plenty of information on tobacco prevention strategies, history, health, economic and ecological effects, and about the WHO treaty.

Exchange Report to Zambia, University Teaching Hospital, Lusaka. I went ona student exchange through the Malawi-Zambia-Finland health care project network (MAZAFI), where I did a 3-month clinical training in the Operating Room in the UTH’s Main theatre unit. I also spent time in the ICU, and in a small district hospital in Kafue. during this exchange I also collected data for my final project, o.k.a final thesis. I also had the opportunity to travel to malawi to take part in the network meeting, and to travel to livingstone to see the victoria falls. If any other nursing students are going to Zambia on a student exchange, this report can be valuable guidance and give a good idea on what to expect from Lusaka.
