This shall only be a short little post…
Without wasting any words I shall get right to the point: This autumn its all about children and babies. Clinical practice happening in november-december. Thereafter Geriatrics in january, and thereafter our specialisation in global and transcultural health, the clinical practice of which will be from march until may 2009.
Our final projects have been dished out as well, and my eyes are starting to cross due to all the articles and time spent doing database searches and writing essays.
This autumn I have started to realise the value of time management, and frequently regret my late night last minute habbits. I sometimes have so much to do, that I don’t even get to eat lunch during the day. I overslept twice in one month, forgot one assignment and I have stacks of papers that keep on growing on and around my desk. I failed one exam (oh the shame…) but otherwise I seem to be keeping it together. Most of my work is recieved well (despite the ruggedness), and I am enjoying most of the lectures, when not falling asleep.
I also seem to have gotten myself involved with THE SCHOOL…(shock shock shock…), Yes, I am an international tutor now, and I actually care about the new students, and I’m planning events and other studenty stuff. I am also now a representative of international nursing students on the school’s education board. Its official now. I have become a bureaucratic yuppie student zombie…
And I bought a new Macbook to match!
I shall reveal my final project topic only once my plans for next spring have been finalised. Here is a sneak peek at my possible future working environment:
Health tip: drink enough water. remember to drink water. Water is good for you. Yes water, none other..water water water….not coffee. (note to self : coffee= diuresis=dehydration= confusion=desperation=dangerous behaviour)
