Our country is in mourning again, almost one year since the Jokela highschool massacre. This time the vocational school of Kauhajoki has been shaken by a similar event, where a young man opened fire and killed 11 people, including himself.
More accurate news, I’m sure can be found in many places, so I do not feel the need to discuss any details here.
My condolences go out to all victims, and families, and anyone who is directly or indirectly affected. In fact, to the whole of Finland.
Even though I am only half finnish, I have come to love this place, its shy and quirky people who are actually all so wonderful. Finland has in these three and a half years become my home, and I hope it will stay my home for the rest of my life.
